    Holding Out Hope

In our culture we can get in to the habit of just going to church. God does not want us to settle for that though; He wants us to BE the church. There is a significant difference between the two. Our lives and our communities are transformed not by going to a church building but by living out the teachings of Scripture and BEING the church. As God's people we are called to hold out hope in the way we interact with other people; to remember all that God has provided for us through Jesus and offer that hope to those around us. Listen in as we take a look at Titus 3:1-8 and remind ourselves that as we are being the Church, why would we not want to hold out hope to those around us?

We believe the Bible teaches us that our lives are changed and we grow in our faith best in the context of community Listen in as we take a look at Acts 2:42-47 and talk about why community is so transformational.

    Ready to Serve
In our culture we can get in to the habit of just going to church. God does not want us to settle for that though; He wants us to BE the church. There is a significant difference between the two. Our lives and communities are transformed not by going to a church building but by living out the teachings of Scripture and BEING the church. We are called to follow the example that Christ set for us and be ready to serve others. It can be easy to fall into the trap of serving ourselves but as the church we are called to live differently. Listen in as we take a look at Matthew 20:25-28 and realize to be great according to God's standards is to be ready to serve.
